Jim Lauber works and lives full time in the state of Connecticut. After his combat service in the United States Marine Corps, earning his B.A. in business management, and making his living working a conventional 9 to 5 office job, his free time hobby of writing and recording sketch comedy led him down a different path.
In 2013, he began being booked doing radio comedy casting and improv for dozens of FM morning radio stations across the country to include On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, and the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
This venture led Jim to being hired as a radio DJ with Connoisseur Media Connecticut, 95.9 The Fox, and 99.1 PLR for weekends and fill-in. He also co-wrote and produced a live nightshow pilot project for 99.1 PLR in the spring of 2018, “The Nightshow Live with Ryan Roberts.” The fall of 2020 would bring Jim back to working alongside Ryan Roberts as an associate producer for the afternoon drive on Radio 104.1 in Hartford, CT
Aside from radio, he is represented as a professional voice actor by Lori Lins LTD and New England Models Group. Jim also works remotely for Snap Recording Studios and Voice a Go-Go in Beverly Hills, CA. Here, he has done voice work for business phone systems, maintenance manuals, automated emergency alert systems for schools, and other various media nationwide.
Jim is probably one of the biggest constructive self-critics you could meet, always ready to spill ideas, and get along with anyone he works with.
